  • Younger Relatives Making Use of Your Old Toys

Recently my parents have fetched down some of my old toys from their attic, along with some of my sisters.

It has pleased me that my Niece and Nephew are having fun playing with them.

Is it just me or do you find that late 70s / early 80s toys were indestructible by today's toy standards? My sister's Little People set still survives to this day and my metal trucks have a few dings but still roll on 40 years later.

And yes classic board games and puzzles are great. Found our old Cat and Mouse game and the young ones thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was the youngest in my family and so it didn't happen to me.
I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
        I'm having so much fun
        My lucky number's one

My Uncle is the youngest in a large family so my cousins often used to get hand me downs from their cousins, so many of their toys in the 1980s were ones from the mid to late 1970s.

Sometimes my & my siblings would get things they didn't want, like a Junior Scrabble set which my Mum might still have.
