i remember when i was at junior school we had to watch this learning programme and there was a mini sereis within this programme and it was something to do with an old man who ran this shop and was involved in some kind of bird /egg colllecting and there was a young boy in it too....

I think the actual programme had a floating jigsaw piece in it..... or i may be on about 2 different programmes altogether.

the only thing i can think of i a film called a breed apart with an egg collector in it trying to get the last ever bird of prey egg which he needed to complete his collection there was a boy in that

i'm sure that it could be one of themini series which was on look and read, think it was eagle or osprey eggs and the kids were trying to stop them and an old guy, there was the egg collector and two blokes who were after the kids. i think.haha
