  • Railway Station Chocolate Bars

    Can remember as a small child being on a railway station platform on several occasions and begging for a bar of nestles chocolate from the machine, at the time they looked huge!. Dont think I ever got one though!!

    The one pictured below is a bit before my time and free standing, I remember them being fixed to the wall Also remember standing drooling wishing for one.

      Thanks Heather. Unfortunately I CAN remember the free standing machines! and the fixed to the wall ones. My mouth is watering!! yum yum

        Always used to get a Tiffin Bar from them.

        Could still buy Tiffin up till about 3 years ago from my local shop but must have stopped making them now

          CANT SEE THE PIC MATE DO THEY ACTUALLY HAVE RAILWAY STATION CHOCOLATE BARS WRITTEN ON THE WRAPPERS, CANT FIND ANY IMAGES OF SUCH THINGS ONLINE.. APART FROM THIS.

            Railway stations currently have Selecata vending machine serving chocolate bars, crisps & bottles of coke/Fanta et.

            Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

                when i heard the name of this thread i actually thought there was a brand called railway station chocolate bars.

                i see now its actually rail stations that sell chocolate bars.

                nestle bars where my faVE above all other brands.

                dont remember the machines myself but im sure i did see them.,

                  I remember there used to be Rowntree Mackintosh slot machines on almost very station in London until the early 1990s.

                  Every time & went to visit & used the Underground & would see them.

                  They were painted red & white IIRC.
