  • Robertson's Jam

Did anyone collect the badges and the figure from Robertson's. They all played instruments.

I still have my golliwog pin from the jam mail-ins - but don't dare wear it!!!

        Edit:

        Bingo!

I loved my Cuddly Golly as a kid, wish I still had it! Ebay has loads of Golly pin badges/advertising stuff for anyone who would like to start a collection.

I didn't have a golly...always wanted one, but I did have a back dolly. I didn't know anyone in those days that was black skinned but I adored that doll.

I collected loads of golly badges and only recently sold them on Ebay!!

My granny always made her own jam and we weren't allowed to use it straight from the jar. She always put some in a little glass bowl with a little teaspoon and we used it from there.

My gran loved Roberston's Golden Shred marmalade and I have a vague memory of peeling the label off the jar to get the little paper golly hidden behind it.
I also remember having a soft toy golly when I was little.
