            Looking but nothing yet, they usually do the flash backs in the very next episode after someone dies, which is more often than not the day of the funeral.

                not TV, but if I can switch to films for a mo' ....

                the ending of 'The Elephant Man' when John stares at the picture of the little child sleeping in bed. Something that John could never do since he could never lay his head flat or he would die.......I always cry buckets..."don't do it John" ringing through my head

                :cry::cry::cry:

                    Mine's a real life moment, I hope that's OK. It's when Tommy Cooper collapsed live on stage.

                        Very sad indeed, I remember watching it on my own and thinking "that's not meant to happen is it?"

                          Because I was so young and impressionable - 16, and that's a l o n g time ago - I was shocked and stunned when the news of JFK's assassination came through.

                          I remember I was getting ready to go to the Youth Club and burst into tears !!

                              One of the saddest moments for me was watching a made for tv film in 1980 called 'Like Normal People' starring Shaun Cassidy (he of Hardy Boys fame and brother of singer David!).

                              I was just a youngster at the time and it had a really deep effect on me. Film details below:

                              http://www.answers.com/topic/like-no...=entertainment

                              I actually cried during the film something I had not done before or since!

                              An incredibly powerful film for its time.
