Twix definitely tasted better years ago. Bought a Twix today for the first time in 13 years and it was just a sugary, tasteless soggy mess.

ive tried them a few times lately and sadly i have to agree with you.
very few sweets taste as nice as they did back then.

what have they done to them over the 13 yrs since u had one today.
Kit kat is one that does still taste as nice.

I have noticed that it's similar too with Cola these day's - which in the 1980s/1990s I rated 100 times better than Pepsi, though I have bought some smaller bottles fromPundland Today and those equal to £1 the other day too and these are equaly as good as from the 1980s, but the cans of Pepsi seem to taste immensly watered down.

It is all such a pitty I think, asi can imagine in America (though I may be wrong tat the authorties don't water down Pop etc) like in the UK we have become obsessed with remo0ving sugar - it may not be good for you but what is, is my theory - let people eat and drink what they want, it's only the same as Beer etc.

ive not tried pepsi recently so i cant say either way mate.

but coke proper coca cola tastes as good as ever it did.
one of the only drinks etc that tastes as good as it did as when we where growing up.

fanta still tastes as good as ever did.

seems to be more the food that has changed taste wise than the drinks.
must agree keep it the same after all you dont have to eat it.

in moderation it does no harm.

Ah Beef and Tomato Pot Noodles. I used to pick out all the peas and add extra ketchup in mine. Preferred Pot Rice though. The Nice and Spicy flavour Pot Noodle was good. They should re-introduce those. Barbecue Beef Super Noodles taste the same as they did years ago i.e disgusting and my favourite, Chicken, still tastes the same as well.

I bought a pack of Gold bars at the weekend. I haven't eaten one since I left primary school in 1990 and they tasted just as I remembered them- delicious! And the caramac coating on the biscuit seemed to be a lot thicker than I remembered it. I wish Birds Eye would re-introduce Potato Fritters. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle and unbeatable when hot and dipped in chilli sauce or ketchup.

I also bought a pack of Gold Bars last week, and I agree with you, for once something that tastes the same as I remember.
