Please help me....what was that programme?

Hi guys,

Very excited about this website as it seems everyone gets the answers they are looking for. I remember this programme that was on, not a cartoon but a series and i'm unsure but I think it was American or Australian. It was about a family, 2 sisters who always seemed to fight and the little sister was the main character who kind of told the story from her point of view. I swear her name began with R?? Like Rowenna or Rhoda or something like that? Not much help really but if anyone knows, please let me know! It's driving me crazy! I think it was on at the weekends and was more of a kids programme to watch?? x

They were white and I was born in 1985 so It was prob early 90s? Back then I only had 4 channels. BBC 1 and 2 and ITV3 and CH4? How times have changed...I have sky so slightly a few more channels!!

She was about 7/8 maybe and had a light brown bob! Lived in what I remember to be a bungalow? Not too sure about scruffy but i'm sure she was a tomboy and her sister was the opposite? I bet if someone finds out what this is all the details i've given will be completely wrong!!!

I'm not really sure to be honest...her name is probably kate for all i can remember? I used to have an awesome memory so this is really bugging me!

Just spoke to one daughter (born 1985) she has a vague memory of a little girl called "Rowenna", just gonna ring the other daughter and ask her....

Hmmmmm, well - I've searched and searched and the only series I can find ran from 1989 to 1992. It was about a tomboy BUT - it's British and her name is -
