hope you like the album yeah funny how you bought it today eh lol

its so sad he quit for those reasons but i can understand it but great he is writing and producing his own stuff now.

Didnt realise it got to the point whgere he physically could not get on a plane.

We know how much you love rick abit too much eh.:d

its fantastic to hear the album reached no1 in the album charts.
Its fantastic he is now having success.

Rick has often stated the reason he retired was due to it all getting to much to the point he could not physically get on aeroplane to tour any more. He decided to concentrate on family life. Now his daughter is all grown up and be feels he has nothing to fear and feels no pressure as these days he writes and produces all his own stuff.

great to see he is now doing making his own music.
Doing his way with no pressure to do tours etc.

He may look like him lemonlime but but he sings better.

I got the impression Stock Aitken Watermen put Rick under a lot of pressure to perform even when he was having problems with stage fright.

One of the New Kids On The Block had the same trouble around the same time.

Though I liked the catchy lyrics of "Never, Never Gonna Give you Hope" - Rick is one of the very singers who I can't abide if one of his songs came on the Radio!

A friend who worked for the Council said similar about Jimmy Summerville and The Communards and wanting to rip the Radio out and chuck it out of the Van! Sadly I feel like this when hearing Rick's voice!

Its no wonder rick had enough of them.

at least now he can w
rite songs with no pressure and in his own time.
He still sounds as good as ever.

interesting he wasnt the only one they did it to.
