Blobs

Blobs were around at the time time as Spangles. They were round and came in different flavours. The toffee apple ones had a soft toffee centre in a hard green apple boiled sweet. They were also strawberry and cream Blobs but I dont think these had a soft centre. I am sure there was a fizzy one too.
