    Here's my 10 for starters

    1 Alien
    2 Star Wars
    3 Jaws
    4 Close encounters of the 3rd kind
    5 The Godfather
    6 The Exorcist
    7 The Godfather Part 2
    8 The Towering Inferno
    9 The Spy who loved me
    10 The Poseidon Adventure
    "GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER"

            I agree with the above with the exception of star wars and bruce lee films,what about American graffiti?

                Well you've got Star Wars, plus two Irwin Allen movies there, so I'm happy with that! Do slightly daft-and-over-the-top films count? I loved Airport 75. ........err, excuse me, who groaned?

                            National Lampoon's Animal House,
                            1941,
                            The Warriors,
                            The Wanderers,
                            American Graffiti,
                            Blazing Saddles,
                            Catch 22,
                            Carrie,
                            Mad Max,
                            Holy Grail.

                            No particular order, gave it ten minutes thought, so might be different tomorrow.
