This was a kids' drama from 1980 about a mathematical genius, who is sent to a special school to nurture his talent. But the talent scouts, who are supporting him and running the school have more sinister intentions, as it turns out they are exploiting his genius in the pursuit of unethical bad science. There were some very strong performances from all Dramatis Personae and overall it was a very original idea that worked well.
