    a tiny working record player?

school books in ITA langauge, and ones caled adventure on the island - like a hardback ladybird book, and one called candlelight and moonshine?

watching SPACE 1999 and thinking that the year 1999 was such an incredibly long way in the future(lol)

the taste of white cholcolate and caramac bars before the flavour was changed

cream eggs with choocolate cream filling

You're right there, it seemed an age away like 2001 did too, now they are just memories too

I'd forgotten all about cream eggs with chocolate filling! I loved those. In a tartan wrapper weren't they?

thanks all for the welcome, have been getting into the mood by playing "TIGER FEET" and "Ballroom Blitz"

magnetic fly is in itself a memory of some strange things we had as kids i think ther may have been frogs as well, they had magnets in and when they got close together, whizzed round.

hello cluadine im not sure about the wrapper you may be right i think it was stripey brown, maybe tartan though.

the chocolate filling was in a dairy milk bar recently but i cant find it now, it was called "double chocolate" or something only a couple of months ago, like a dairy milk bar

                    Hi.

Would love to hear more about the little record player.

My bugbear with Space 1999 was that they always said Space ninety-nine. 'But what about the nineteen in front of it?'

We're only ten and counting until Blade Runner - 2019.

                        My Nissan doesn't fly.

                        Yet.

Aaw look at it!! How cute? I can't tell if it played regular records or little special ones. Is it normal size?

The opposite of Homer Simpson on Australian beer - 'That's big, I guess'.

I have to admit, I was thinking along the lines of something more keyring sized that played music box style records.

£20.95! That was high then. And of course, the days when Argos actually saved you money!
