Ok on the amazing sucsess of the last question I asked I'm going for gold lol.

This is the other show that's been bugging me, but even more vague a description.

I think it was between 1988-1993 (like the other)
I'm pretty sure it was a short series, repeated a couple of times, more an early evening show if I remember rightly (as my mum watched it with me)

Here's my very vague description: program/series
A garbage monster comes out from underneath a bed and eats or kidnaps a girl and takes her to another world that's constantly fighting/ futuristic?

Hi monkeys_rock...happy to see I was on the mark with 'The Odyssey'. This time I think you are referring to 'Under the Bed' (1988) - at least it is the only thing I rememeber from around the time you mentioned which includes a garbage monster under a child's bed. A quick search threw up this description Under the Bed (1988) as well as this YouTube clip YouTube - The Goodies in Under The Bed.
