    Just a quick bump, as a new book has been released called "The Trebor Story"
    I shall be getting a copy tomorrow

    Theres a certain charm to the old ads featured in comics back then...its all wi fi/phone apps nonsense now...

    I wonder who won the competitions? Does anyone know anyone who did?

    I can recommend the book 'The Trebor Story'
    however it seems many of the images have been 'borrowed' from these very pages,
    the second time my collection of images and scans have been borrowed for a book...

    Always loved Trebor's Soft Fruits, not sure if you still get them. Is the owner called Robert? There was a fat kid in my class called Robert who was always munching sweets so we all called him Trebor because it's Robert backwards.

    We used to sing this on the playground: "Trebor mints are a minty bit stronger, stick 'em up yer bum and they'll last a bit longer". That was (sort of) their slogan back then.
