  • Horror presenter in mask...

Anyone remember series of horror films on TV in the late 80s or early 90s that were a presented by an actor in a horror mask and costume sitting in an armchair(I think).

Had a feeling it may have been called "Dr Terrors blah blah blah..." but this could be completely wrong.

He had a big hooked nose and pointy chin. Anyone remember this?

I know its only a small chance as the description of the presenter doesnt really fit but its not Tales From The Crypt is it ?

Nope - wasn't Tales from the Crypt.

It was British and it was a short sting before the main movie - I think it was a season of horror films being shown on BBC2 or Channel 4.

He spoke with a British accent and wore a smoking jacket I think...

          Bongo! thats it! Cheers Huggie

The reason I've been looking for it is because there is a girl at work who has the same sort of bone structure and she reminded me of him.

Wished the BBC would do more of this type of thing and put more old horror movies on...

I bet she's really flattered about that! LOL.

Yeah, I remember this dude well - seemed strange that he talked in a posh accent.
