  • 70's Painting Programme

    Hello everyone,
I am hoping you experts can mabye help me out?
I am trying to remember the name of a programme that used to be on in the 70's that was a woman painting. She always started off by painting a guide grid in brown paint and then would paint still lifes etc.
It was on UK tv I was born in 71 & I remember watching as a very small child so it would be about 72-79 really.
Also there was another program that I used to watch that had a little girl who's friend was a ghost?
Thanks for any light you can shine on this.

I'm almost sure the show you're looking for is 'Paint Along with Nancy'

I remember Paint along with Nancy. I think she was either American or Canadian. I seem to remember it being on just before the children's programmes started.

There were two other programmes that would have been roughly contemporaneous with Nancy's show. One was an origami programme, but you never saw the person doing the origami--only his hands were shown on screen. Another was a yoga programme, again this may have had a US or Canadian presenter and they played oriental background music.
