does anyone remember the childrens tv series HUNTERS GOLD set in new zealand and shown here on the bbc in around 1976-1980 and repeated a few years later.
after school i rushed home to never miss an episode.

another new zealand offering was CHILDREN OF FIRE MOUNTAIN shown on the bbc also around 1980.this was my favourite kids show of all time.

if anyone has any episodes on video or dvd i'd love to hear from you as it would be great to see these again.

i actually watched the youtube clips of hunters gold this week which actually prompted me to continue my search for these two fantastic but elusive shows.
cant tell you how much i would love to see them again.

For what it's worth I have salvaged 6.5 episodes of Hunter's Gold.

Sadly I'm still searching, like you, for the rest but no one seems to have the complete series and TVNZ pulled the plug on the dvd release. Very sad that such a magnificent tv series should be denied general release.

I lived in New Zealand in the 70's and remember watching this on tv when it first came out. It was a really good, well made series.
