  • Help identify a fly-on-the-wall documentary

It would have been late seventies or early eighties, and followed the stories of boys in a public school. There was a tall, imposing headmaster, and I recall one of the boys was called Paige - which I thought very exotic at the time! I think the school's name began with an 'R' but I'm not sure.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

    Oh yes I remember this.

There were 2 series, both called Public School.

It was Radley College, see this thread

Radley! That was it. Thanks HG. I've done a bit of Googling but there's very little info out there aside from your link and a short mention on Wiki's 'Radley College' page.

Would so love to see this series again.

      Thanks again for the post.

        I remember watching that series.
it focused on a couple of boys. It was excellent.
would it be available on DVD?

there was also a good BBC documentary series about a comprehensive school in 1982.
i think it was called Kingswood
