                  Hi Darren,
Could you check and confirm please ?
On the Old Catalogue Toy pages on the forum Page 44 post#440
You put up an image from Argos 73 catalogue showing three items - two spacehoppers and a wembley trophy ball - ONLY the spacehopper cost is shown. item 33 / 34 / and the ball item #35
Could you check what the ACTUAL cost of the BALL was please- or were they all the same price
                  Thanks in Advance
                  David

                    HI MATE

Only number 34 has the price shown the orange space hopper.

Sadly does not say what the price of the ball is.

At a guess id say they are all the same price.

But as thats all of the page thats shown i suppose if there was more to the page prices may be shown for the other two.

IIRC Argos started as centres for redeeming Green Shield stamps.

Woolworths also had a go at catalogues called Shopper's World, but closed them down when the British branch of Woolworth's was split from the American company.

Yeah I still remember the books and the section in Argos where you could redeem them.
