  • Anyone remember this toy?

    It was a clear plastic/perspex ball probably about 6" - 8" diameter.
Inside this ball were 10 (I think) numbered plastic cups and a small ball.
The small ball could be rolled straight into the first cup, tipped into the second & from there onwards the challenge required a great deal of dexterity to flip the small ball out of each cup into the next cup in sequence.

One of my favourite toys from the early 70s but it was often commandeered as a fundraiser in my parents' pub.
(they charged something like 10p/go (which was about the price of a glass of beer), all money went to local charity & the prize for getting to the tenth cup was £10)

There is a sort of modern version which has a maze inside the clear ball but 'my' toy was so simple it was enfuriatingly frustrating.

I know not where it came from but I don't recall any of my mates having one.

      Oh wow, that's amazing.
Now, where can I get one?

Aaargh, 2 on ebay USA but they'll only ship to US.
      Curses, foiled again.
