  • Greatest football player

Many people would say Pele, Cruyff or Best, but in my opinion the best player I have ever watched is Dennis Bergkamp. His sheer skill, vision and ball control was sublime.

You obviously never saw ME play
You might get to see my nephew play before too long, though. He's only 10 and 2 clubs have shown interest in him already. One was Bolton Wanderers, not sure but i think the other was Derby County.

Not Adebayor? Although starting to see another side to him now. (the one that spends most of the game stood still or on his backside). Thought Wenger was silly the other night. You had a decent shout at winning the Carling cup if he'd taken it seriously (not that i'm complaining though)

Not seen many greats being a City fan so would have to go for Colin Bell.

Knew Adebayor would show his true colours eventually, Branny.

Wenger will never change how he plays the League Cup.
Congrats on your win, we were ****!

Sir! Sir! It's that Branny leading me astray!

Colin Bell is an interesting choice though.

                  Ooh Charlie George!
I had such a crush on him in the 70s. Every time he came near me when I was stood in the North Bank I nearly swooned!

I remember waiting to get into the North Stand once and Nigel Winterburn pulled up in this old banger. He wasn't able to get into the players parking gate by the Gunners' Shop, and had to park it on the other side of Avenell Road. Everyone was laughing at him. He looked SO embarrassed!

Rodney Marsh , Stan Bowles , Tony Currie.....there were so many characters in the 70's early 80's. Can always remember Frank Worthington scoring against us, beat 3 men , dribbled around the goalkeeper then backheeled it into the net...

I have no idea about 80's n 90's but I rely like Ronaldo from Brazil.

I'm biased, also being a City fan, but Colin Bell is certainly the most complete footballer I've ever watched.

Bryan Robson was by far the best, best midfielder around a box to box player.
Also a lovely guy have met him many times xxxx
