Saturday night presenter...

Hi there. Can anyone remember the name of a British Saturday night presenter from the '80s (I think). She was very tall, long brown/red hair. Unfortunately I can't remember if she was on BBC or ITV, I *think* she may have sung with Faith Brown. I do remember she may have died from cancer perhaps.

Just curious.

does sound like Marti Caine

i think she had a show in the early 80s called Marti.
seem to remember she also did a bit of stand up comedy on her show.
Did she appear on Sea Side Special? (those shows with little and large)

She also presented the revived New Faces in the mid 1980s, & Joker In The Pack in the early 1990s.
