    fave drink cremola foam
    fave toy all my star wars toys
    fave tv dungeons and dragons,grange hill,willow the wisp,he man,she ra etc etc..
    fave sweets opal fruits sherbert dip cola bottles. aero etc etc..
    fave pastime hanging out with me mates,building tree huts,playing footie till late.getting mucked up.playing computer games etc etc..
    fave crisps salt and shake,monster much etc..

    jumping over the local river not very wide.
    sometimes we fell in.great fun.

        Darren You should dig out a song by Tom Robinson called 1967 its brilliant and nostalgic and sad and poignant and not bad and basically sums up your last statement

          Weekly Comic - Look-In, then Eagle & Tiger (I think it was fortnightly, but there you go)
          Fave Crisps - Farmer Browns, or Football Crazys
          Fave TV Show - Stig Of The Dump (1981), Swap Shop, Open All Hours
          Fave Sweets - Texan Chew Bar, Sherbet Fountain
          Fave Drink - Orange squash
          Fave toys - Corgi Ultrasonic Wrecker, Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Matchbox Powertrack
          Fave Film - Gregory's Girl
          Fave Gadget - Tomytronic 3D Game
          Fave Pastime - Drawing, playing out, cycling, friends and me soaking each other with water pistols

              Fav sweets 1p Arrow Bar
              Fav drink - Orangeade
              Fav toy - can't remember (dolls mostly)
              Fav film - The Parent Trap (original with Hayley Mills)
              Fav pastime - play acting, singing and dancing
              Spending every day all day of the school summer holidays in the park, T shirt and shorts with a snake belt, plastic sandals and a packed lunch in a 'duffle' bag. Ate the lunch by 10.30am but didn't go home till tea time anyway. Paddled, climbed trees, played on the slide and swings, played hide and seek, and chase and then did it all over again.
              The people of Oman don't like the Flintstones but the people of Abu Dhabi do!

                Fav TV prog- Round the bend/Garfield and friends
                Fav sweets- lemon sherbet Dib-dabs
                Fav drink- Lilt
                Fav toy- my Playskool Bigfoot monster truck
                Fav film- Ghostbusters
                Fav pastime- bike rides, rugby, messing about on the local BMX track(which was right next to the city cemetery), postman's knock(ringing bells and running like hell), scalextric, drawing and Lego Technic on wet days, putting floor polish on the big slide in the playground and seeing who could go the fastest, making trumpets out of hosepipe, a funnel and a rubber tap adaptor for the mouthpiece. My friends and me using our school on weekends as an obstacle course for our bikes. The school was on lots of different levels with lots of ramps and stairs to tackle until a security man with a big dog caught us on a Sunday afternoon and chased us away.

                  i had all of the bubblebaths from children tv shows i had mr plod postman pat mickey mouse womble teletubbies big bird

                    I always forget you are one of our younger members, onthebuses

                    TV Prog.... Would have to be Doctor Who............ oh and Marine Boy of course.
                    Sweets..... The ones that came in Jamboree bags.
                    Drink........ Top Deck Shandy
                    Toy.......... Etch-a-sketch
                    Pastimes....I cycled a lot; we had a large pond opposite, so pond dipping; and astronomy. One of my best friends actually
                    had an observatory in his garden!

                          Fav drink - Dandelion and Burdock from the pop van.

                          Fav toy - Action Man before he got gay and pacifist, Scalextric, Evel Knievel.

                          Fav film - Jason and the Argonauts.

                          Fav gadget - Digital watch that played 11 tunes. It was made by a company called Shivas and was very slim compared to other watches at the time.

                          Fav pastime - playing footy or kerby.

                            Sweets- Pink Panther chocolate and Pacers
                            Drink- Quatro
                            Toy- Star Wars
                            Film- Tron
                            Gadget- micro cassette recorder plus Casio VL-Tone
                            Pastime- Vic 20/Commodore 64 gaming, and in the summer endless rides on the zip wire in our garden... until I sneezed on take-off and fell the 15ft and got banned by mum!

                              TV: Black Beauty, Bagpuss, The Flumps and Mr Men
                              Sweets: Space Dust (orange I think), Cola sweets, Golden Nuggets in a bag, Refreshers on a stick (I think) and Banjo (by Mars) still remember the Jingle -
                              Banjo, Banjo the one for me and you, light and crispy wafer and roast nut flavour too!
                              Drink: Lilt, Orangeade, Fanta and Coca Cola
                              Toy: Pacman
                              Film: Wizard of Oz
                              Gadget: Walkman
                              Pastime: Playing with my toys/seeing friends/going to local shop hiring VHS tapes for about 50p/£1. Remember hiring Friday 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Class of 1984 in particular (think some were pirate copies). Can't watch horror films now though, was braver back then!

                                Comic: I was'nt into Comics - I hope it's ok i'll sawp that one for a Footy Mag - which was 2 from either Match, Shoot or 90 Minutes

                                TV: Grange hill or anything good like Going Live, The 8:15 from Manchester etc

                                Sweets: I never really like Sweets that much, never have but i'll say Tick Tacks as my fave from being young

                                Drink: Lilt

                                Toy: My Starsky aand Hutch Toy Car

                                Film: Clockwise

                                Gadget: Video Player

                                Pastime: Just hanging out with my best friend of my first 8 years of life knowing him, though we drifted apart sadly.
