  • Need help for a party dish!

OK, I might be going to a "potluck" thing tonight where everybody brings a dish - and the theme is "food from your childhood" Any ideas? I was thinking something like jelly and ice cream or fairy cakes but I bet everyone will bring something like that - so I was wondering what sort of savoury course I could bring? It's not so much "party food" but a dish that is classically "childhood-y" (and simple to make/cheap!!)

    Any help would be fab!

All I can suggest is a huge bowl of cheesy wotsits?

Was going to say big bowl of Angel Delight, made from about 3 packets but you said you wanted savoury, good luck and have fun!

My Mum only seemed to buy certain foods for special occasions.

I remember Onion Rings, Bacon Frazzles, Animal Biscuits, Party Rings & jelly set in a rabbit shaped mould were reserved for parties, & sometimes allowed at Christmas.
