I enjoyed Terry Gilliam's Brazil too. It was obviously a big influence on Jean-Pierre Jeunet, as his later movies like La Cité Des Enfants Perdus (City of Lost Children) took on a very Brazil-like look!

The Terrornauts from 1967. Only saw this once. I was off school with a dreadful cold and ITV showed it one afternoon. A very strange film, particularly when you're feverish and dosed up with Night Nurse.

For Tery Gilliam, I go to Time Bandits, The Fisher King and Jabberwocky, not to mention Baron Munchausen

I am quite partial to "Alien" inspired films. A few I enjoy are:

            Titan Find aka Creature (1985)

            Forbidden World (1982)

            Galaxy of terror (1981)

            Inseminoid (1981)

Alien 2: on Earth aka Alien Terror (1980)

Hi Darren, it is currently on a certain video streaming site we are all so fond of . Actually, there seem to be 2 versions, 1 of which you have to sign in to view.

I've not watched it yet, but after getting a card with this picture on in a Cards Against Humanity pack I feel I must watch Zardoz!

The Omega Man is brilliant - I saw it when it came out so must have been about 10. It's based on the book I Am Legend - by the excellent Richard Matheson - and this film version is one of several (Will Smith was in the most recent one - another good watch!).

The Andromeda Strain is OK. For me, it petered out into nothing and was a bit of a cop-out.

IIRC, The Black Hole was Disney's first non-PG=rated film. Again, I really like it, especially as it features one of my favourite actors, Roddy McDowell, albeit only in voice form.

                              Phase IV
A 70s film about intelligent ants and the threat they pose to mankind's dominance on Earth.
