I remember Sledge Hammer! It was a great show and very funny, but didn't seem to last long. It reminded me somewhat of the Police Squad! series.

Angliaknight, I remember most of those programmes on your list. Longstreet was typical of the detective series of the time except that he was blind. I think Bruce Lee was in the pilot teaching him martial arts. I really used to like the series.

Project UFO was shown at tea-time in the ATV area. The stories were based, I believe, on actual reports of UFOs.

I can just about remember the Sexton Blake series. I am not sure if any episodes are still in existence. I seem to recall it was set in the 1920s. Valiant comic featured SB comic strip adventures at the same time and there was a set of collector cards--3 or 4 cards + gum per packet--and I still have some.

I had forgotten about Kreskin until I saw it on your list. Can't recall too much about it--was he a magician or was it something about psychic phenomena?

Orlando was a children's adventure series. I think he wore a bobble hat and had a strip in TV Action or TV Comic or something similar.

Fynger, I am a little too young to have seen Adam Adamant on TV but I have the series on DVD--all the episodes that still exist, that is. Obviously made as a rival to The Avengers, I thought it was a good series.

I do remember St. Elsewhere. I wasn't really a fan, but it was quite popular at the time.

Wasn't Alternative 3 something to do with people being sent to Mars rather than life being found there, but the memories of this one are very sketchy.

Alternative 3 was an Anglia spoof science documentary, very convincing because some of the presenters were serious factual prog' hosts, but ITV couldn't air it on April 1st as planned and all hell broke loose when they did eventually put it out.
Yes CANNONBALL was about truckers, great theme, 30min shows.
SEXTON BLAKE a childrens show from Redifussion for ITV.
ORLANDO again a childrens show starring Sam Kydd.
KRESKIN was a daytime import, yes a magic type show.
PEYTON PLACE american soap very popular worldwide, Mia Farrow, shown around the regions,never networked.
