Hunter was a great american cop show starring Fred Dryer as detective Rick Hunter. Used to stay up late to watch it. Think it was on on a school night as always remember being knackered the next morning trying to get up for school on time! Was worth it though...nobody I speak to remembers it

I remember watching Hunter. Fred Dryer was Hunter and Stepfanie Kramer his partner DeeDee McCall. A previous poster said they thought it was shown during the week, but I seem to recall it being shown at the weekend, or perhaps it was shown on different days from series to series. I think it was a bit more "adult" than some other series and Hunter himself was in the Dirty Harry mould.
