    Re: Badge Collection

I did collect badges in the 80's along with pencil erasers and toppers, all have sadly been lost over the years.
I once bought a big job lot of advertising badges off ebay,
but its not the same has having a collection you lovingly and painstakingly collected yourself over a number of years,
the personal attachment just wasn't there, so I passed on a few and threw out the rest in a resent house move.

                    Re: Badge Collection

I used to have (probably still have somewhere) a tub with badges in.

I can remember has a kid, I really liked Rainbow (the TV programme). My dad wrote to Thames TV asking if it would be possible for them to send me one of the badges that Geoffrey, Rod, Jane, Freddy wore on the show. Thames TV sent me a badge. I can remember been ecstatic when my dad told me that they had sent me one

If I can ratch them out, I'll put some pictures on here.
Oh to be a kid again with a can of Top Deck on a hot summer day, now that would be good.

Some of my younger friends have collections of bages on their bags.

Recently I followed suit but have managed to lose a Tardis one.

So many great badges u have sixty.
Some must be fairly rare now.
The band ones id think are fairly rare now.

Be tough getting them now in good nick.

                          Love the judge dredd one.

Do they still do badges now tho.

I used to collect badges for a short while when I was younger, but I moved on.

There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
                                I'm having so much fun
                                My lucky number's one
