Haha yeah I remember those turtles too, Teenie Tiny Terrapins or something like that they were called. I never made too much progress with them though, always seemed to get the same one every time I got a Kinder Egg. It was a bit frustrating all things considered, there must have been a good few of them to collect and here I was constantly getting the same one over and over!

The Disney characters they did for the 1988 Olympics were nice, there were variations of Goofy, I had two goalies, two tennis players. I remember having a FIAT Van with cogs in it to move it along and a metal cog wheel as well, basically a friction motor. Also had a FIAT Punto, I also liked the Soldiers you could get inside the container, you built one figure from the parts. There where other Disney characters I had - that Cow in a dress and that fat dog called Pete, had two versions of him, one had a green top and cap and the other red...Does anyone remember the 1986 Mexico World Cup mascot they did called Pique, he was a football playing green chill and the point on the chilli acted as the pointy bit on his Mexican sombrero....

I think I'll buy one or two soon for nostalgic curiosity and will let you guys know what I got inside...Btw, the toy capsule seems smaller now too...

With free cereal gifts. Can't they not just put the toys at the back of the box, outside of the packaging. Another side to the story was that they stopped putting the free toys inside cereal because it promotes unhealthy eating. But having said that. It's better for kids to have a sugary breakfast than no breakfast at all. Most kids will only eat unhealthy breakfast, so you might as well encourage them with an incentive.

But as for the choking hazard, insert them outside of the bag of cereal. I remember having lots of boxes, with the toy stuck to the inside bottom of the box.

In my experience as a glorified slave (shop worker) putting things like CD Roms/Pokemon cards on the outside of cereal boxes is a bad idea as the cards/CD Roms tend to get stolen

How do you get the toy out if the container isn't in 2 parts?
