  • Game show from the 80s

Can anyone remember the name and/or presenter of this game show from around 1983?

A panel of about eight each read out the answer to an unknown question. The contestant was then asked a question (or to complete a phrase), and had to pick out the person who had given the answer. And there was usually a 'red herring' - an answer with no question attached to it.
The present is a foreign country. They do things differently here.

Just looked up Punchlines: Yes, that was it, on ITV between 1981 and 1984, hosted by someone called Lennie Bennett. The 1983 series was between September and December, so it won't be in the TV Times listings posted by Ecofugal. Thanks Sixtyten.

Celebrity Squares? Sorry - never heard of it.

I've never been a telly addict - or a game show fanatic - and I'm not impressed with the current ones.

If you are really interested in finding out I left a link, but it doesn't really sound like you are, so I wouldn't bother following it
