I never had one of those as a kid, but I've been toying with the idea of buying one. Might buy an old one though, with the gear lever in the right place!

The MKIV is cool, but I do actually wish they hadn't changed the seat and kept the gear lever in the right place....

Worth buying a MKIV as I still get peeps cheering or reacting as I ride around on mine.....

                Love it!

Bet it costs more for an old one than the repro !

people pay up to £200 for a repro when you can pick up a nice mk2 for the same price if you look hard enough,

Yes there was (in order of size descending) the Chopper, Tomahawk, Chipper and Chippy. The Chippy had solid tyres if I remember correctly.
Personally I loved my Purple Chopper (oo err).
Regarding the price of them now I recently saw an episode of 'Cash in the Attic' or something similar and one sold for £80....the people were chuffed with that but I bet they wouldn't have been if they had known how much they go for on Ebay.
