Yep I still watch it, boxsets are available. I used to love all the greek mythology stuff plus the hidden turncoat enemies where you start liking someone then theyre suddenly some "plant" that the gods have put there to trap Ulysses, one memory that always stuck in my head was telemacus and umi on a never ending figure 8 type road as punishment and ulysses had to decide whether to be taken prisoner or leave his child on that endless loop.

I remember it well, all the other crew in the Odyssey were under some kind of curse.

Was there an actual ending, or did it just finish?

there was indeed a proper ending.
when ulysses reaches the kingdom of hades he is then allowed to return with his crew all back to life back to earth.

I got my 7 year old son the Ulysses 31 boxset a while back along with Thundercats, various Gerry Anderson stuff and Star Fleet and he loves them all

love both those shows as well as any gerry anderson stuff.

i bet he says them shows are far better than the shows now.

Somehow im not shocked he likes ulysses its a super kids show but its also quite scary and it still scares me a bit.
The stoiries where great i just wuish they had made more.

Yes it had the best theme tune ever.

But I wasn't so keen on the cartoon itself. I always thought Ulysses was the boy not the old beardy guy and all I remember is the curse bit where they were all hovering in mid air.

The curse was put on them because they destroyed the cyclops mate.
