1970's Nylon overalls

Does anyone remember lady shop and factory workers wearing these swishy noisy nylon overalls,very popular in the 60's and 70's. I loved them in my school days and still love them now.

I can't remember my nanna wearing anything but a nylon overall round the house. I think she had a few - all different colours. Coming very much from the era of the housewife it was her uniform. My mam also had an old, ripped yellow one that she wore for decorating. I sometimes put it on when I wanted to 'help', even though it was down past my knees. I think I'd quite like to have one now for doing the housework.

I remember the dinner ladies at school had light blue ones with blue & white gingham shoulder panels.
