  • Gerry Rafferty

Just heard the sad news that Gerry Rafferty has died. A wonderful muiscian perhaps best known for Baker Street, with the wonderful sax solo and for being part of Stealers Wheel, Stuck in the middle with you.

I have several of his albums and he has numerous other great songs, his best being in my opinion, Whatevers Written in your Heart, which is also one of my favourite pieces of music.

    A sad loss, RIP Gerry

Sad news indeed.........Long ago he was in a band called "The Humblebums" with Billy Connolly.

'Night Owl' is my favourite single of his, and also 'Who Cares?' which is a Stealers Wheel track. Many people today think he was a one-hit wonder, but he wrote and recorded so many excellent songs.

              A sad loss this.
