anyone remember these guys?
loved them when they began(85ish) & still do
they reformed last year with a new vox/guitarist after 16 years out...
didnt they have a hit with " callin all the heroes"?
All the It Bites albums are cool. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with without the powerhouse of Francis Dunnery (his solo album - Man - is very good :) )
It's funny, these groups that most people only know as one hit wonders sometimes have great other stuff.
Anyone remember (from the late 70s - early 80s):
New Musik (Living by Numbers)
Red Box (Lean on Me)
The Planets (Lines)
A mate has just asked me about Red Box. He has been trying to buy a CD of theirs on e-bay but appears its quite expensive. I personally haven't heard of them!

Seems pointless reforming without Dunnery.

have to be honest, i thought that as well. but the brief set of gigs they did before christmas, the reaction on the it bites forum seems to prove otherwise.
from what i have heard myself, john mitchell (the new guy) is doing a great job, new & old.
i'd rather it be dunnery, but moreover i'd rather have it bites ;)

they did :)
Saw them supporting Robert Plant in Newport mid 80s,I thought they were great, much more to them than they're single "HEROS",which I did think was good.
Pip;)
