Ok, so I am putting together a compilation with songs for every month of the year.

I would like everyone to participate and post your sugestions.

Any song will do, as long as the tittle clearly states the month of the year.

I already have a few, but would like you to post yours anyway.

I want to keep the compilation as closer together as possible as far as music genre is concern, such as the likes of soft rock, pop, etc...
But again any song will do.

I have:

October by U2
December by Static-X

What are yours?

September - Earth Wind and Fire

Lots of song writers/singers seem to like September:

September Morn - Neil Diamond
September Song - Willie Nelson
It Might as Well Rail Until September - Carol King?

For December, you could have Oh What a Night by The Four Seasons as it is also commonly known as (or might actually be called) December 1963.

For April - Little April Showers, from Bambie

For May - how about Maggie May - Rod Stewart.

Yeah, that's great stuff.
keep em coming...

I've been looking on youtube, but the search is harder than I thought.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm gonna find a song for every month of the year...?!

MARCH ----I remember Iron Maiden did one called Ides of March but I think it was just on an album (that historical creation aka an LP! ) - not out as a single.

DECEMBER --- there's bound to be some twee little seasonal song with that month in its title

Jean Michel Jarre did a song called 'September'. It's not actually named after the month but after somebody called Dulce September.

I'm almost sure it's on the Revolutions album. :)

And there's also the Swedish dance act called 'September' too, so I suppose anything by her would do.

Sighs resignedly - "Oh well , best get cracking then"
