I think it was in that storm that Gorden Kaye was injured when a billboard was blown onto his car. I can remember Allo Allo was taken off the air for a week or two while he recovered....

I had an Acorn Electron with all the software on tape. Occasionally the tape needed positioning to a particular place, & the data recorder had a feature where the speaker could be used to listen to the tape to help things. It was a screechy sound, but not too bad when you fast forwarded or rewound...

Very sad news, quite a maverick talent like many of the pirate radio DJs. Most of them used made up names on-air to avoid any legal action.

Very sad news, I saw Jesus Of Nazareth in an RE lesson where she played The Virgin Mary. I hope Romeo & Juliet will be screened as a tribute as I keep hearing it's very good.
