Children's show set in a cafe

I'm trying to trace a kid's show that was set in a cafe:

All I remember is:

a) it was in the 90s
b) It was on CITV
c) It was run by young women
d) it was not Spatz!


Any ideas please?

Cafe's seemed to be popular locations in the 1990s, Why Don't You used one for a couple of years & Pigsty was one at a recording studio.

Cafe's seemed to be popular locations in the 1990s, Why Don't You used one for a couple of years & Pigsty was one at a recording studio.

I know this comment is old and I doubt you'll see it but do you remember anything about pigsty or any episodes

I remember the characters were Troy Boy, Pinks, Little Pig & their boss MT.

Episodes I remember include, Comedy Duo Nut & Bolt ordering a pizza, Little Pig being left running the cafe & making a mess of things, the oven breaking down so they turned up the thermostats to sell ice cream, the staff being tasked to entertain the children of somebody important.

Thanks so much for replying! That’s really helpful — I hadn’t heard about Nut & Bolt ordering a pizza before, and the ice cream one with the broken oven sounds amazing. It’s great to know someone else remembers the characters too — especially Little Pig running the café, that fits him perfectly.

Do you happen to have any episodes yourself? Or do you know anyone who might have recorded them back then? I’m trying to track down as much as possible, even old VHS recordings.

And if you remember anything else about those episodes — like what Nut & Bolt looked like or what happened with the important guest’s kids — I’d love to hear it. Every detail helps!

I think it's the episode with the kids, MT is expecting them to be younger & dresses up as Uncle Porky to entertain them, complete with Pig Mask!

That’s amazing — Uncle Porky with a pig mask sounds interesting! I’ve never heard that detail before. It must’ve been such a funny moment with him trying to impress the kids like that.

Do you remember how the kids reacted? Or what else happened in that episode? That one sounds like it had a lot going on.

That phone detail really paints the picture — I remember MT had some transparent phones in his office too, like see-through with colours inside. He definitely had some weird gadgets lying around that matched his whole flashy boss vibe. Or yuppie or whatever he claims to be..




If you remember anything else — even little odd details — I’d love to hear it. I’ve also been collecting clips and bits from the show on my channel, in case anything there sparks more memories. but did you remember anything else about M.T being “uncle porky” did troyboy or pinks say anything about that? or did they go along with it.. i actually never knew that happened in pigsty i watched quite a lot when i was younger but even those details slipped my mind.
