It's fixed now George but before the fix we couldn't actually upload new ones....

You've probably all noticed the developers have managed to get most of the avatars and photos back. If yours is still missing they are still working on finding them. Alternatively you can just upload it again (I have).
This means no need for Rollback.

Also they found over 1 million...

I'm now able to upload a new Avatar! It also seems lots of the photos are back too

Roll back gets my vote! The forum looks bare without the avatars.

Members could always check their posts for the month and If there are any they really don't want to lose they can copy them and repost after the roll back....
