Default Vague memory really bugging me!

When I was young (early 90's I think) - I had a cartoon annual a bit like Mandy or other "for girls" mag. It just stuck in my mind as the stories were all a bit surreal:

The main one was about two sisters, the eldest was called Martine (I think) and they both were part of a dancing/acting class or something. The older sister took on an alternate personality involving clicking 2 bangles together (i think it was supposed to be part of a character she was playing in a production, but she ended up behaving like that in real life). It ended with her burning their house down but coming to her senses just in time and rescuing her sister.

Another was about a Welsh farming family - at the beginning they were all sat around the fire at home and their elderly (slightly senile) grandfather called their collie Idris (and that was the name of a dog he had years ago.) Then the girl and the dog went outside and were caught in a snowstorm. The grandfather appeared and rescued them - but it turned out that he had died a few hours before and it was his ghost leading them to safety.

And there was also a feature about making your own greetings cards!

How vague is that?? Can anyone remember any girl's annual that it might have been? I really don't think it was Mandy but I can't think of any more!

I could only find girls annuals from the 60's 70's and 80's, did they become old fashioned by the 90's?? Only ones that seem to be listed on Ebay for 90's are barbie or Spice Girls annuals-Strange i thought they were timeless.

whoops My Blue Jeans from 1992

It could well have been the 80's - I don't even know how I came to have this annual, I think I got it from a jumble sale or something!

Well this cover is *seriously* ringing some bells - think I might buy it anyway and see if it's the right one!
