Question A hardback activity book - one for boys and one for girls

I had this 'blue' activity book for boys in the late 80s as a kid and seriously can't remember the exact name or find it in Google etc.

There was also a pink one for girls.

I think it was something along the lines of "The boys activity book".

Anyone else have a better idea?

Was it an annual or just something you could buy anytime?
Was it puzzles or experiments and things to make and do?
    What size was it?

It was about A5 size, maybe a bit bigger and 1 - 1.5 inches thick.

It wasn't an annual, more a book of information I think and maybe how to make some things like paper airplanes and stuff.

I used to have a similar book in the 70s called something like '101 things to make and do on a rainy day'. It was A4 size though. Lots of things to make using cotton reels, dowels, matchboxes, etc.
Although it didn't say it was aimed specifically at boys, I can't remember much in there that would have appealed to girls.
Maybe yours was an 80s version of that book?

Not sure if this is the book above but

OR try "Every Boys Handbook" in Ebay search.

Not the cover I remember, but the same style - I wonder if this is a later re-print with a new cover?

I have e-mailed the seller to see if they can tell me the publisher/ISBN.

Thanks - the first picture posted sounds like it's the one - the eBay seller confirmed the ISBN is the same.

Maybe it is just a different cover image from a later re-print?
