DoYouRemember.co.uk attracts a lot of TV producers doing research for news shows and one of these production companies has just asked if we could help them find volunteers to appear on a new BBC 1 show.
Here are the details, and if you're interested in taking part, just PM me or leave a message here and I'll get the production company to give you a call:
"We are looking for interesting people who went on holiday as a family in the 60s, 70s or 80s. They will have lots of photos or (even better) cine or video camera footage of these holidays. Successful applicants will be filmed as we send them on an identical holiday to the ones they used to enjoy all those years ago!
This is a feel-good film. We are not looking for any kind of fireworks or deep-rooted conflict, the show is just a vehicle for looking at traditional British holiday destinations using contemporary props such as cars, golf clubs, music, newspapers, toys etc. We are looking to film for four days over a long weekend before Christmas. If the show is commissioned it would be televised on BBC1 in 2006."
