Beano/Dandy Animal's annual..

.. is out now & well worth a look, it features all the cats, dogs, mice ostriches, bears etc. that appeared ion the comic since they started out. It's got Dennis throwing a bone to Gnasher on the cover.
One notable exception is Spunky and the Spider from the Dandy 60s/early70s. Yeah, I know, I know, but why wasn't it included with a note from the Editor as to how innocent things were back then ?
