Does anyone remember Oink! comic?
It was only published for a short time between 1986-1988 and was quite controversial at the time - lots of conservative groups found it offensive and managed to get it moved onto to the top shelves of newsagents! It was like a children's version of Viz and often satired current affairs or people in the public eye. One of the main characters was Uncle Pigg, who was the comic's editor and his storylines regularly featuring his clashes with critic Mary Lighthouse, who was a parody of Mary Whitehouse. Frank Sidebottom also had a regular strip.
