Smash Annual

Does anybody remember the Smash Anuals? I still have one,which is the 1970 annual.I have just found a link to a site,where they show all the annuals,from it's first in 1967 to the last in 1976.I am sure i have seen some of the covers in my house years ago,but cannot find them now.I guess they must have been given away.

Anybody recognise these annuals.I find the one i have,the 1970's one,is absolutely hilarious to read.Grimly Feendish is in this annual.
Here is a list of the stories and characters in the 1970's annual.They may trigger a few fond memories

They should have kept this annual going in my opinion.

I remember the Smash annuals and have the 1970 one somewhere aswell.

Pow! and Wham! comics/annuals were similar aswell I thinK?

They were a bit more off the wall than the Beano etc....


Another character I liked was Nobbys Night Mares.

Smash!, Pow!, Wham! and the later Fantastic and Terrific were the five titles published by Odhams as their 'Power Comics' range, and featured a mix of British strips and American (mostly Marvel) reprints. Smash! was the first to be launched, the only one with pretty much no reprint material, and also the last to be cancelled (although by then, it was published by IPC which had swallowed up Odhams).
