My late mother was one of the most prolific story writers for Misty.

Brings back memories of my holidays when I used to spend a week with my Auntie. She had two girls both were big readers of the Misty comic and also had a couple of Misty annuals. I also was captivated by many of the story's in the comics and several even to this day seem to stick in my mind. It was a sad day when it became the Tammy and Misty comic instead. Too girly for me then and the story's seemed to go downhill fast.
Years later I asked my cousin what happened to all those Misty comics and annuals she had, and was told her mother had thrown them all out long after she had left school as she thought they had grown out of them.Leave a comment:

Hello I know this is an old thread. But I have something in common with the person who started it. I loved the only Misty annual I had too. Which was also the 1984 one.
Seeing your list brought back memories.
Unfortunately I don't know what happened to my copy. I don't think ive seen it since 1985/86 at least. It could be in my parents loft or my mum might have got rid of it when I moved out in 1992.
Its such a shame that there aren't annuals like this available for kids today.Leave a comment:
