early 90s travesties

One thing I remember about the early 90s they were a weird time. As a teenager in the 80s it was de rigeur to go out dressed up to the nines even if you dressed casually. Come the 90s I'd go out as a twentysomething and be surrounded by all these grungy, dressed down, teenagers and I couldn't get used to it used to feel very out of place as i was still dressing up!

I thought it was Transvestites too and wondered what the hell were they all about! Anyway, I remember those hoodies too and I used to wear them with really baggy paisley printed hareem pants (don't know if they were called that but that's what they looked like) and bright coloured kicker boots. Oh remember those Wallaby shoes - suede sort of moccasin things - I used to wear those too with baggy tracksuit bottoms - surfy style.
