Do any other Southerners remember the 70's Soul Jean?
Hipster jeans with piping on the side of the legs coupled with a canvas soul belt.
Add to this a Dan Dare tee shirt and a tank top and we thought we were the mutts....
My mate had a tank top that his nan made. It was thicker than the Yellow Pages and was that horrible arron pattern that looked like the top of a fishermans pie. We set light to it and it took about four hours to burn (might have been shorter, everything seems longer when your a kid!). He told his nan that a dog ran off with it when we were kicking about.
