1970s girl's jacket

Does anyone remember wearing a jacket in the 70s which came to the waist and was tightish fitting in a suedette material and had big like sheeps woolly sleeves?
I seem to remember them being called teddy jackets, but I'm not sure.

Apparently these are called teddy bear jackets.
Some had furry arms and maybe were made of different materials.

Am I the only one who owned one of these?

Ha Ha, I think you must have been!!!! :-) I do remember 'Hacking Jackets' being all the go, they were tweedy/checked with patches on the elbows and I think some might have had leather lapels and leather buttons on the sleeves.

Here is a rather poor photo of me in 1972 with my friend. We are both wearing these jackets. Does this jog any memories?

This is the best collection of coats ever gathered in one place.

I would be happy to go out in any of these items of warm winter wear, even today.

70s coats were great though.
Apart from this jacket, my fave coat was an airforce blue swing coat that was all the rage in1973.
I also had an an ankle length, belted tan leather coat with a big fur collar. I thought I looked the bees knees in that in the late 70s.
