Who remembers owning a crombie coat.I used to wear those white tights that had holes down the sides,with a pair of red and blue suede lace up brouges.I also had a pair of suede purple shoes which I adored.
Who remembers the midi and maxi coats,I owned a midi didn,t like the maxis.

My sister had a crombie in the early 80's in the mod revival.

Remeber one of my ssters dressing like that - sometimes she also wore long stripy socks - red and black or yellow and black - and all her mates dressed the same

I remember the girls at the local girls' grammar school used to sashay in in their long black leather coats over their school uniforms. It was at that point that I was destined to become completely perverted...

From those years I remember wearing hotpants, babydoll dresses, platform clogs, tank tops, puff sleeved blouses and smock tops.
My brother wore those trousers with the sewn in 'v' at the knee.

Have just read this thread. It brings back memories - being on the short side I could buy a midi coat - and it would be a maxi on me, loved it.

I had a Crombie, didn't have the hankerchief and tie pin though.
I swapped the Crombie for a leather jacket, and that was my life set out,
Well apart from the blip where I wore a great coat and said "man", "groovy" and "I dig it".
